Jessica Simpson gave the world a glimpse at her new baby girl, Maxwell, and life as a new mom. On the cover of the latest issue of People magazine, Simpson looks fresh-faced as she holds Maxwell, who lies asleep in her mother’s arms, clad in a dress and a hairband.
The fashion mogul says her life has changed since give birth via C-section on May 1.
“We stare at her all the time,” Simpson said. “We can’t get enough!”
Simpson admits she even misses her baby girl when her fiance, Eric Johnson, is feeding her.
I miss holding her, she said.
Simpson and Johnson reportedly sold the rights to Maxwell’s first public photographs to People for a whopping $800,000. However, the amount is just pocket change when compared to how much money People has dished out in the past for baby pictures.
When Jennifer Lopez had her twins, People paid $6 million to snag the first baby pictures. That doesn’t even compare to the $11 million they paid Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt when they first had their twins. Perhaps the secret is to have twins to get the multi-million dollar deal from People?
