After a tumultuous week that included leaving The X-Factor and breaking up with her ex-fiance Jason Trawick, things are starting to look up for Britney Spears. The pop princess has just signed a deal for a two-year residency at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas.
The deal is reportedly for $200 million (which is MUCH more than any reality show deal) and she will be spending the next two years performing two to three nights a week at The Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace. The venue has hosted the likes of Elton John, Shania Twain and Celine Dion.
It is certainly true that a residency holds greater appeal for older acts, but stability and routine will probably be great for Spears and her two sons. Plus, an act like Spears is sure to attract even more pop music-loving tourists to Sin City. And, who is going to say ˜no’ to $200 million?
An official statement has yet to be made but Spears has apparently already signed the dotted line.
