How this isn't the only thing anybody is talking about right now (I mean in pop culture, you guys — I'm not a monster) is beyond me: word on the street is that the Spice Girls and the Backstreet Boys may be joining forces for a world tour.
The Sun reports that Brian Littrell of BSB said his crew is "actually in early talks about maybe doing a world tour together with the Spice Girls."
And then I passed out and away because what else do any of us really need.
However, we shouldn't be expecting Victoria Beckham — the artist-formerly-known-as-Posh ruled herself out of another reunion after the Fab Five performed at the 2012 Olympics in London, England. The last time all of them were even pictured together was at the release of the play, Viva Forever, back in December of that same year. Since then, our lives have all been empty.
But it's not only Brian talking about the Spice Girls: Emma Bunton has recently gone on record joking that she'd do a Las Vegas residency with the group if they were paid more than Britney Spears, and Mel C hinted they'd commemorate the 20th anniversary of "Wannabe" with a get-together in 2016. (2014 is so useless! Why can't it be 2016 now?!)
Obviously we'll keep you posted because we're all in this together.
