Are you counting down and/or getting anxious over the end of the “Twilight” franchise? Well, there may still be a future for Edward and Bella.
According to EW, Stephanie Meyer didn’t commit to writing more “Twilight” books, but she DID say she wasn’t finished writing them, either.
“I planned out where it could go for a couple more books,” she explained. “So I knew exactly what would happen.” This was, actually, of a storyline revolving around Jacob (Taylor Lautner) and Renesmee (Mackenzie Floy).
“There are other characters who I think would have a lot of voice in those coming stories,” she continued.
However, he’s the whole, “But maybe . . . ” comes in. When asked directly if she was going to write those books, she merely commented, “Maybe someday, I’ll just write it out for myself, we’ll see.”
So that clears it up! Well, no. But now none of us will be surprised when and if this endeavour ensues. (Or doesn’t. Dun dun dun . . . )
