For those of us still holding onto a shred of hope that Zack Morris would one day be ours, it’s time to make peace with reality: Mark-Paul Gosselaar is married now. (And also, he is not actually Zack Morris.)
According to People, Mark-Paul got hitched to his longterm girlfriend, advertising executive Catriona McGinn on Saturday at the Sunstone Winery in Santa Ynez, California. This is the second marriage for the actor, who was previously with Lisa Russell (with whom he has two children), but he was still very involved in this wedding’s planning.
“I’m too type-A to let it happen around me,” he said. “We’re trying to make it as traditional as possible. It’s going to be fun!”
What will be even MORE fun will be the couple’s honeymoon to Italy, where Mark Paul Gosselaar tells People they plan to “eat their a–es off” and are “really excited about that element.”
As they should be. It’ll be a step above The Max, I’ll tell you that much.
