Alexa Chung’s fashion influence is ever-expanding, and now she can add yet another campaign to her long roster.
Slated to be the face of French label, Maje, Alexa Chung will be fronting the brand’s F/W 2012-2013 collection.
“I am thrilled to be the face of Maje for their autumn/winter 2012-2013 campaign,” she told Vogue UK. “It’s a brand I wear and love, so to be asked was a huge compliment.”
The campaign was reportedly shot in black and white in early morning at Paris’ Porte de Lilas metro station by photographer Glen Luchford, and it is said to evoke a ’60s vibe. Of course, fans of Alexa Chung shouldn’t be surprised, especially since the model has spoken to countless publications about her love of the decade.
According to WWD, Maje wasn’t surprised either: “Elegant yet edgy,” they told WWD. “Her attitude reflects a personality that is both glamorous and rock ‘n roll.”
Seems like they’ve been following Alexa Chung’s career as much as the rest of us. Time to covet another fall collection!
