While couple upon couple were schmoozing it up on multiple TIFF red carpets, others were hitting the town in New York for Fashion Week. Among them? Jennifer Lopez and Bradley Cooper – reportedly Hollywood’s new potential golden duo.
According to TMZ, the two were seen dining at Per Se, a restaurant described as “romantic” (especially since it was just the two of them, and it’s easy to toss that word around if there’s a candle or two).
However, a People magazine spokesperson has claimed the hang-out was “all busines” since they are “in discussions regarding a project”. And while we’re sure that’s probably not the whole truth, provided they’re not making Hangover 3, we’ll take this meet-up as a step in the right direction.
Meanwhile, Ellen Degeneres and Portia de Rossi are teaming up on an NBC comedy, which, while untitled, will revolve around two dueling sisters (one to be played by the actress-formerly-known-as-Lindsay-Bluth). Ellen’s set to executive produce, while Samantha Who? writer Dan Todd will pen the pilot.
Not to bring this full circle, but with Lopez and Cooper allegedly working on a “project”, we can only hope J-Lo’s cast as the other sister, and Bradley Cooper is given a walk-on role. (Again, anything to stop The Hangover 3 . . .)
