While you’re probably not at a loss for reading material, word on the street is that Kate Moss and Grace Coddington are getting set to release books in the near future, with memoirs reportedly being the name of the game.
According to The Sun, Kate Moss has been making notes for what seems to be an autobiography, with a source saying that “she’s never opened up about her parents’ divorce, having daughter Lila or relationships with former boyfriends”. Truth. And how does “this source” think would come from this venture?
“Her fans will be desperate to read it and she’ll make an absolute fortune.”
(Well, she certainly needs the money, so thank goodness, right?)
Elle remains skeptical since the supermodel has always kept her public at an arm’s length, and has never gone into detail about her personal life – with her career thriving despite (or because of?) it. Time will tell!
However, in “confirmed book news”, the New York Observer has reported that Grace Coddington has secured a $1.2 million book deal to be co-authored by Michael Roberts – a deal that’s been in the works for almost two years, despite Jay Fielden formerly being attached to it. (The book was put on the backburner after he became the editor-in-chief of Town and Country.
While no release date’s been set yet, here’s hoping we see Grace’s autobiography in the near future. Watching The September Issue on repeat just isn’t the same anymore.
