It seems a lot of women have that *one beauty thing* ” whether it’s perfectly styled hair, impeccable makeup, or polished brows ” that makes them feel (and look) ready to face the day. For me, great skin has always been my jam, so not only am I skincare fanatic, but I’m always on the hunt for the next best foundation that makes my skin look #flawless. And I’ve tried many great ones over the years (shout-out to my foundation hall-of-famers Smashbox Camera-Ready CC Cream and Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Invisible Cover Stick). But my latest find, Sephora’s new Make No Mistake Foundation & Concealer Stick, is a game-changer, not least because it has garnered me a seeming endless stream of “Your skin looks perfect!” compliments.
So yes, this is a foundation and concealer in one beautiful stick that gives medium to full coverage that’s totally blendable and buildable. The formula is super creamy, thanks to hydrating pomegranate seed and cranberry seed oils, so it perfectly glides on the skin. It evens skin tone and hides imperfections while giving natural-looking coverage (read: your face will *not* look like it’s been Facetuned IRL). It also doesn’t crease or settle into fine lines, which is super important as the stick is a concealer too, so I use it around my eyes to cover my dark-as-night undereye circles, and it works like a dream for that, too (and with pale skin like mine, my circles are seriously dark). What’s more, this foundation gives my skin a nice glow ” (probably a result of those antioxidant-packed seed oils again) ” that looks ever-so-slightly dewy, fresh and young.
