We may resent them (slightly) because of their looks, height and ability to walk a catwalk in a bathing suit without cringing in embarrassment, but Forbes has given us a whole new reason to envy top models in all of their leggy glory: cash-money.
Not that it comes as any surprise, but after the magazine recently released its list of top earning models, jealousy ensued around the globe as beauties like Heidi Klum, Kate Moss and top-earner Gisele Bundchen put all of us to shame (financially).
Boasting an income of $25 million over the past year, Tom Brady’s other half and super-mom supreme was followed by the $16 million Klum, the $9 million Moss as well as Doutzen Kroes, Adriana Lima, Natalia Vodianova, Alessandra Ambrosio, Daria Werbowy, Miranda Kerr and Carolyn Murphy who rounded out the list. (Am I the only one who only knows about four of these?)
So the real question of the hour is whether or not these beauties are worth that much. No “ not in the sense that their actual worth as human beings is defined by their income, but whether their abilities to sell cosmetics and pose prettily warrant multi-million dollar paycheques? Food for thought.
Well, at least they’re out-earning Speidi.
