Top 6 Performances at the 2016 Grammys

The Grammys are a showcase for the year in music. Between the performances, the tributes, the fashion and the actual awarding, the night is packed with talent. There are always a few misses in a show with so many performances (I'm looking at you, Pitbull. Why were you even there?), but the 2016 Grammys definitely managed more hits this time around. Here are my picks, from the expected favourites to some less expected winners.

The Cast of Hamilton – “Alexander Hamilton”

If you haven’t heard about this musical, you should:

  1. Move away from that rock you live under, it’s really holding you back, girl.
  2. Go listen to the entire album non-stop for the rest of your life because it is EVERYTHING.
  3. Don’t try to get tickets ever unless you want to be sad. For real. Unless you want to see it in 2020 for at least $500, it isn’t going to happen.

This is the biggest musical to hit broadway since The Book of Mormon, and I think it might be even bigger than that.
