All eyes were on Sandra Bullock at Wednesday night’s People’s Choice Awards when she claimed the `Favorite Movie Actress` prize. Bullock certainly demonstrated her comedic chops during her acceptance speech, taking a chip-shot at Tiger Woods.
Departing from the traditional `And the nominees are¦` when introducing the Favorite Movie Actress contenders, presenter George Lopez quipped, `I have the honor of naming the five white women in America that Tiger Woods has not slept with`.
Never late to a punch line, Bullock was quick to pick up where Lopez left off, stating “It’s only four women that haven’t slept with Tiger Woods“ to rapturous applause. She then went on to deliver a moving acceptance speech, even getting emotional at points when thanking fans for years of support.
Bullock’s joke was the latest in blow in a bad week for Woods, with AT & T being the latest sponsor to sever ties and estranged wife Elin Nordegren spotted removing boxes from his office. Not that we feel any sympathy of course. If anything Sandra Bullock’s acceptance speech reaffirms our love for Hollywood’s golden girl as we congratulate her on a job well done.
