Sarah Jessica Parker To Play “Vogue” Editor

Remember when Carrie Bradshaw got drunk at “Vogue”? (Yes. We all remember. Every single one of us.) Well, Sarah Jessica Parker is returning to the Conde Nast offices for an appearance on “Glee.”

Set to appear in this season’s third episode — called “Makeovers” — Parker guest stars as a fictional editor of “Vogue” who interviews Kurt (Chris Colfer) for an internship.

However, while “Vogue” and its editors have been depicted in pop culture as less than understanding, Sarah Jessica Parker’s version is quite the opposite. In a preview, she appears eager to speak with Kurt about his designs and goes on about having had food poisoning in his home town.

But don’t think “Glee” doesn’t have Anna Wintour’s blessing: according to “Vogue UK,” Wintour worked closely on the wardrobe for SJP’s character, who wears pieces by Prabal Gurung, Altuzarra and Prada. Hopefully the EIC makes an onscreen appearance herself!
