According to a recent report Rachel McAdams, and Owen Wilson have fallen for each other on the set their new Woody Allen film, Midnight in Paris.
Several British tabloids have reportedly witnessed the so-called couple flirting both on and off the set and generally enjoying the romantic French setting together.
One on-looker even told Britian’s The Sun, “After one scene at a flea market in Saint-Ouen outside Paris, Owen was playing with her hair and being really affectionate. Even for a pair of luvvies, it was very flirtatious. The gossip on set is that they are an item off screen.”
Yesterday, Owen Wilson’s publicist told GossipCop.com that the rumors were false. It has also been confirmed that many of the lovey-dovey photos used to start the romantic rumors were actually taken during scenes from the upcoming movie.
Despite the rumors being denied, many continue to speculate. Both Owen and Rachel have hooked up with co-stars in the past “ Rachel and Ryan Gosling met on the set of The Notebook, and Owen and Kate Hudson did meet as co-stars of You, Me and Dupree. If it can happen once, it can happen again, right?
Plus, many are calling Rachel McAdams a dead-ringer for Owen Wilson’s ex, Kate Hudson. Owen and Kate split in spring of 2007 after which Owen battled a serious bout of depression, apparently related to the devastating breakup. Is Owen trying to place Kate? Or is he just a guy with a type?
Either way, many seem to have their fingers crossed in hopes that the cute couple might be getting cozy for real. Who knows “ when its midnight in Paris, anything can happen!
