Alright, we're obviously all entrenched in the 50 Shades of Grey saga, so to make this ride a little more fun, let's just accept we're going to be talking about this movie in some capacity even if we're making a lot of jokes. (And trust me, I will be making a lot of jokes.)
Next order of business? Rita Ora has been cast as Christian Grey's (Jamie Dornan) adoptive sister, Mia Grey, because of course.
"It's official!" the singer tweeted. "I've been cast in @FiftyShades of Grey as Christian's sister Mia."
And in the words of SNL's Church Lady, "isn't that special."
However, this isn't Ora's first acting role: in 2004, she made her acting debut in the British film, Spivs, and had a cameo in Fast & Furious 6 which came out earlier this year. She's also a force on the British charts: she's had more number one singles on the charts than anybody, ever, so take that, haters.
Even Rita Ora's official website confirmed the news: "It's official! Rita's been cast in Fifty Shades of Grey as Christian's sister, Mia. She will appear alongside Dakota Johnson, Jamie Dornan, Luke Grimes, Eloise Mumford, and Jennifer Ehle, with Sam Taylor-Johnson directing."
So it's happening. Casting. Actual casting. But can we please all stop and pause and remember Jennifer Ehle was once Elizabeth Benett alongside Colin Firth's Mr. Darcy? Never forget. (Couldn't if I tried, you guys. Couldn't if I tried.)
