MAC and Nasty Gal Show ‘Em Who’s Boss

MAC Cosmetics has just announced their latest collaboration — a lipstick collection with Nasty Gal. Sophia Amoruso, founder of Nasty Gal, has gained popularity for her vintage yet provocative and trendy style. Not to mention that her career-counseling book #GirlBoss is as great as it sounds. Now, Amoruso is bringing that boldness to MAC. 

The collaboration includes three matte lipsticks — Stunner, Runner and Gunner. Stunner is a bombshell red (with a very fitting name). Runner is a darker, more vampy burgundy. And, Gunner is deep purple shade. The collection will also include a nail polish called Flaming Rose, a bright red lacquer fit for any #GirlBoss. Amoruso herself is being featured as the spokesmodel for the collection's campaign. 

“MAC and Nasty Gal are both young, colorful brands that complement one another,” Amoruso told WWD. “It was a fun and effortless collaboration to create.”

The lipsticks will sell for $19 each and the nail polish will cost $14. The MAC x Nasty Gal collection will be released on December 4 at select MAC locations throughout North America.
