Kerry Washington Secretly Weds Football Player

Kerry Washington married NFLer Nnamdi Asomugha. The pair wed in a small ceremony on June 24. 

Washington is known for keeping her private life very private, even managing to keep her nuptials a secret for several days. The couple wed in Idaho in what seems to be a small ceremony, with Washington's parents listed as the witnesses on the couple's marriage license. 

The actress has risen to fame in the last year, with breakout roles on her television show "Scandal," and starring across Jamie Foxx in "Django Unchained." While she has been on the scene for many years, it was these roles that gained her recognition and a big fan following. 

Washington and Asomugha were first linked together last summer. This is the first marriage for Washington, who was previously married to David Moscow.
