Justin Timberlake’s fashion line William Rast is finally available in Canada. The singer launched the line at Hudson’s Bay in downtown Toronto yesterday with his business partner Trace Ayala.
During the launch event, Timberlake and Ayala (Timberlake’s childhood best friend) showed-off a few designs from their fall collection. It was also announced that William Rast will be expanding into all 90 Hudson’s Bay stores, and will also be available online at TheBay.com. In a few scenarios, William Rast will get its own shop-in-shops and will be featured in some store windows.
According to the CEO of Sequential Brands Group (the company that owns a large part of William Rast), Yeuhda Shmidman, both Timberlake and Ayala have been very involved with the fashion line.
“They look at everything. Trace is super on the day-to-day stuff for us,” she said. “Justin has input on the aesthetic… it’s a true partnership.”
William Rast will also be partnering with JCPenny in the near future, and they have plans to expand into footwear.
