In today’s eye-rolling news, Kristin Davis has come forward and announced that she and her fellow cast members would “love” to to a third Sex and the City film. It seems that the creators and stars of SATC can’t leave well enough alone.
Despite the terrible reviews, poor fan reception and the fact that Sex and the City 2 was a scarring experience for anyone that sat through the fab four’s journey to the Middle East, Davis seems oblivious to the fact that fans would rather sell their box sets than experience what can only be described as “Golden Girls: The Next Generation“. The actress poured her heart out in a recent interview with Metro:
“We all want to do it. I guess it’s just figuring out whether we can move the characters forward any more.”
No. No you can’t, Kristin. Because if you did, that would mean they would simply be one dimensional characters as opposed to the two-dimensional versions that we’ve already been subjected to. (Essentially, the movie would be animated, and it would go straight to DVD.)
“I would love to do a third film,” she added.
Well, it looks like as long as the three amigos join Mrs. Charlotte York Goldenblatt in her “let’s make a movie!” mentality, only the writers need to jump on board to get this party started. Insert cosmopolitan joke here.
