The best way to make yourself feel old is to think about the fact that Hilary Duff is married. Then, if you want to feel even older, remember that she’s pregnant.
Appearing on an Ellen Degeneres episode that will air on Monday, the 24-year-old revealed that she’s been having a “super-easy” pregnancy, and has been sickness-free despite experiencing “crazy dreams”.
“It’s kind of like a little alien has taken over your body,” she told Ellen. “You just don’t quite feel normal. But it’s cool. It’s been good.”
As for whether the “little alien” is a boy or a girl? It’s a boy! Which we can chalk up to mother’s intuition because the artist-formerly-known-as-Lizzy-Maguire “had a feeling it was a boy the whole time”.
Evidently, Hilary’s husband, hockey player Mike Comrie, needed a little convincing about her pregnancy, since he has a “joke that [she] thinks [she’s] pregnant like 12 times a year”.
“When it actually happened, he was in the shower,” she explains. “I just ran in, and he was in the shower and I just held up the pregnancy test and I was like, oh my god. And he was like, ‘AHH!’ He was soaking wet. We were just like a mess and started crying. It was really exciting.”
