It looks like Britney Spears is back folks, and she is back with a vengeance. She’s been busy shooting the video for her latest single, Hold it Against Me, and tweeted a picture to give her fans a sneak peek of what’s to come.
Such an incredible experience. I think this will be one of the best videos I have ever done, Britney said after the first day of shooting.
But that’s not all that seems to be upcoming for Britney. MTV News (@MTVNews) tweeted that they’ve got a secret project coming up and, of course, it involved none other than the comeback queen herself.
“Keep an eye on our feed¦ got a secret Brit project on the way,” MTV tweeted. What could this secret project be? Perhaps a behind the scenes look a her new video? Maybe a surprise performance? As an avid Britney fan (don’t judge me, I know you all sing along to Baby One More Time every time it just happens to play on your iPod), I can’t wait for MTV to reveal what this new project is.
It really does seem like this is the comeback everyone’s been waiting for from Britney. Hold it Against Me has been doing some pretty amazing things on the charts, and the video isn’t even out yet! It debuted at number 1 in 20 different countries and broke a few records for having the most US radio plays in one day. Hopefully her upcoming seventh (and still untitled) album follows suit.
The Hold it Against Me video is directed by Jonas Akerland, who is behind some of the video magic for Madonna, Lady Gaga and Christina Aguilera.
