Demi Lovato has launched her own line of skincare products called Devonne by Demi. The line currently includes a three-part daily cleansing system that was specifically designed for women on-the-go.
"Ever since I was a young girl, I have always been about skincare for some reason," Demi told People magazine. "When you take time to do things for yourself like care for your skin, you feel the most confident."
The line includes a hydrating protecting mist, cleanser and moisturizing primer. Proceeds from sales of the starter kit, which start at $29.99 USD for a monthly subscription, will benefit the Lovato Treatment Scholarship. The scholarship helps young women dealing with mental health and addiction issues by providing them with treatment, including clinical services and stays at transitional living homes.
The Deep Facial Cleanser is made up of natural plant extracts for a gentle yet thorough clean. With ingredients like apple essence, natural Reishi mushroom extract, licorice extract, Kimarine seaweed and a rice-derived exfoliant, the cleanser deep cleans your pores but remains gentle enough to use on the delicate skin under your eyes.
"I am trying to help young girls and women all over the world love and accept themselves when they look in the mirror," the 22-year-old singer said. "I can guarantee that if you take care of your skin and use products that work, you'll find that confidence."
