Cara Delevingne is coming for your job, I bet. Why? Because in addition to the million other campaigns she's featured in, the British model just secured herself as the new face of Topshop. (If this was Game of Thrones, she'd be Daenerys.)
According Vogue, Delevingne will appear in the brand's autumn/winter campaign globally, and will be the first solo person to do so. This will include indoor and outdoor marketing — but Topshop has yet to confirm any of this themselves. So officially, this is just speculation. (Even though Vogue is usually pretty bang-on with their exclusive news.)
If it is true (and it probably is), this will be simply the next in a long line of brands Delevingne has conquered: the two-time Victoria's Secret model just designed a capsule collection with DKNY, and has fronted campaigns for Burberry, Mulberry, and Yves Saint Laurent. She appeared in films Anna Karenina, London Fields, and The Face of an Angel, and then designed a line of handbags for Mulberry. So when I say she's likely coming for your job next, I'm not kidding around: girlfriend WORKS.
Here's hoping she lends her design skills to Topshop while she's there to give us what Kate Moss already has: another capsule collection. Also here's hoping Vogue reported all of this correctly because let's face it, this is a pretty cool move.
