Say it isn’t so! Admist the countless breakup rumors surrounding the future of the band, the Black Eyed Peas recently announced that they’re taking an indefinite break from making music together.
So is this really the E.N.D of the Black Eyed Peas as we know it? Not necessarily¦Fergie announced at their final U.K. gig that the show was the last time¦for a long time, but not forever. Clearly, they just can’t get enough of each other.
The Peas are taking an indefinite break “ but don’t start worrying just yet. Fans have to keep in mind that the band has done this before. They split up between 2005 and 2009, and then came back stronger and better than ever.
The Peas frontman, will.i.am took to Twitter to further reiterate that a break does not mean breaking up for good. He attempted to ease the minds of fans all over the world with his tweets about their hiatus.
The @Bep will take a break after the beginning¦just like we did from monkey business to the e.n.d¦but it doesn’t mean we stop creating.”
By creating, we’re sure he means taking on the plethora of side projects for himself, taboo, apl.de.ap and fergalicious Fergie. Fergie is basically a solo artist in her own right already “ her 2006 album, The Dutchess, sold very well and was nominated for a Grammy.
We’re sure the media will go crazy trying to come up with reasons behind their split. It’s probably safe to say that the relationship and baby rumors are about to begin!
