Thank you, nostalgia. Nearly 20 years after 98 Degrees released their first album, the foursome is releasing their first studio album (called "2.0") on May 7, and hitting the road with NKOTB and Boyz II Men to support it.
You read that correctly — dreams do come true.
The reunion was first announced on The Today Show last August, but the triple bill live extravaganza is something none of us can truly emotionally or mentally prepare for.
"We are really excited to bring our fans new music and get out on the road," said Nick Lachey. "This is a long time coming."
Well tell us about it! It's only been over ten years since the last 98 Degrees album, and since the Backstreet Boys have already done their reunion thang, it's only fair we be graced with 98 Degrees live and in concert, too. And speaking of which, the band will be taking to Canada on June 4 in Ottawa, June 6 in Montreal, and June 7 in Toronto, before heading to Vancouver on July 10, and back to Toronto on July 28.
Let's all go, guys. Or better yet, say "I Do (Cherish You)" to some massive 98 Degrees extravaganza. (See what I did there?)
