The 73rd Golden Globe Awards have come and gone and Twitter was aflutter with the gaggle of celebrities walking the red carpet. While most people were spotting trends (dresses with pockets”brilliant”jewel hues and all kinds of sparkle, plus let's not forget the deep-v), we were watching the red carpet rule-breakers, the ones who bucked the trends and won our hearts by taking risks.

Most stars were opting for sequins, but Rachel McAdam rocked a full-on Monet (far away it looked like flowers, but up close it was a big old mess). But, paired with her bright red lip, we were reminded why we love Rachel’s sense of red carpet adventure.
