Gwen Stefani is getting the OPI treatment. The No Doubt singer has teamed up with the brand for her own line of nail polish colours.
Described as "standout colour in breakthrough finishes," the line was inspired by the 2013 Met Gala, which was an ode to punk. According to a press release from the company, the collection celebrates "the role of music as a major influence in fashion." So, Stefani was the obvious choice.
The collection will feature some new finishes – a semi-matte satin finish for colours Love.Angel.Music.Baby and 4 in the Morning, and chrome colour Push and Shove gets a mirror-like finish when painted over base coat Lay Down That Base.
OPI will even be selling a box-set, which will feature a red hue called Over & Over A-Gwen along with glamorous nail-art companions such as Swarovski black crystals, studs in silver, gold and pewter, and nail glue.
"Gwen uses beauty to accessorize her style," said OPI's Executive VP and Artistic Director, Suzi Weiss-Fischmann. "OPI wanted to create a collection as dramatic, diverse, and glamorous as its namesake."
Gwen Stefani x OPI will be available beginning January 2014.
