Man Crush Monday: Torrance Coombs

To kick off our very first Man Crush Monday I decided to go with a Canadian actor who stars on (in my opinion) the best new drama on TV, Reign. That’s right, our #MCM is Torrance Coombs who plays Prince Francis’ half-brother Sebastian on the show, which chronicles the rise to power of Mary Queen of Scots (think Gossip Girl meets Game of Thrones).

It just so happens I bumped into Torrance on a flight home from Las Vegas last week and not only was he so kind (even after I bugged him to take a selfie with me), he is just as striking in person as he is on TV. After sharing the pic of us together on social media, dozens of his fans began tweeting me asking about the encounter and I realized then how huge of a star he has become in such a short time since the show first aired in October. Thus, he has rightfully earned this week’s spot.

1. He can carry a tune! He used to be a part of his school choir.

2. Want to impress him? Quote Shakespeare! He acted in an annual Shakespeare festival in Vancouver.

3. He’s off the market. Sorry ladies, but Torrance is dating the gorgeous Former Miss USA 2011, Alyssa Campanella.

4. He’s a cat lover. Torrance frequently posts pics of his cat Renly on Instagram.

5. Hang out in Toronto and there’s a good chance you’ll bump into him while he’s here filming Reign. Worked for me (although I wasn’t doing that on purpose… I live here).
