It enhances the waves that are always present, and it boosts the curls we can scrunch in with our hands. An inclusion of almond oil adds a weightless hydration we appreciate, because when our waves/curls dry, the structure of each one is more defined. Product labels tend to list ingredients in order of their priority, which means that good old H2O is the dominant ingredient is this hair styler. It makes sense, the brand claims the formula won’t dry our hair out and we have to agree—we’ve been frizz and fly-away free. But what we appreciate the most is the foam’s versatility: we can massage it through our damp hair and then let it air dry for casual curls and we can rub a little in after the shower and then blow it dry with our diffuser for soft beachy waves. No matter which way we go, we know we’ll have up to 72 hours of volume and hold.
