How to Embrace the Blue Beauty Trend

Whether it's because the '90s are making a comeback or now, more than ever, consumer makeup toes the line every so closely to pro makeup brands, blue makeup for every part of your face is now a thing. Take the plunge with a blue lip

McKay agrees that the blue lip is for “the adventurous spirit,” but explains that no matter what skin tone you have, you can still try it out: Someone with a darker complexion can wear dark blue beautifully as it doesn’t contrast that natural skin tone that much, but it also looks fantastic on a fair person as it does contrast their natural skin tone. McKay recommends a matte dark blue lipstick applied with a lip brush so it appears deliberate and bold.
