For many of us, our me-time involves masking, bubble baths and wine. After all, we all need some zen to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. Masks don’t just get us relaxing, but ultimately, work on deep cleaning our skin and giving it that glow. I have tried several different brands over the last few years and there are some masks that truly work wonders on my skin. Here are some tried-and-tested products that are worth every dime.
GLAMGLOW
This is a brand you’ve probably heard everyone talking about — and the buzz is real. The GLAMGLOW masks are the real deal. I love the GravityMud Firming Treatment, $75, which tightens the skin after peeling it off. You feel like you’ve been blessed with another layer of feel-good skin.
Omorovicza
One of my favorite skincare brands Omorovicza uses mineral-rich black mud with curative properties from Europe’s thermal lake to purify and cleanse the skin. If you love their Cleansing Balm, you’re sure to obsess over the Deep Cleansing Mask, $150. The calcium and magnesium-rich mask lifts away impurities, cleanses the pores from within, and brightens the skin tone. Also, their new Silver Skin Savior Salicylic/Glycolic Acid Treatment, $150, is a very effective mask for blemish-prone skin.
Garnier
The Garnier SkinActive Glow Boost 2-in-1 Facial Mask and Scrub, $10.49, is super hydrating and you can see the soft and supple results after one wash. You can use it either as a scrub or a mask – it’s super effective either way.
Biore
Biore’s new Whipped Nourishing Detox Mask with Blue Agave and Baking Soda, $9.99, is a creamy mask, that helps eliminate impurities, lifting away dirt and oil to purify. If you have tried their Baking Soda line and loved how effectively it works, the mask is just as powerful in getting to those pores. It works best for combination skin.
The Body Shop
If you want a fresh glow overnight, the Chinese Ginseng & Rice Clarifying Polishing Face Mask, $28, has blended ginseng extract, rice extract and sesame seed oil for a refined, clear glow. It targets dullness and uneven skin tones.
Rodial
Rodial’s Snake Oxygenating & Cleansing Bubble Sheet Mask is a detoxifying and deep cleansing charcoal sheet mask which cleanses the skin in O2 bubbles to remove dirt, dead skin cells and excess oil. You are left with a brighter-looking complexion. Retails at $78 for a package of 8 sachets, available at Murale stores.
