Kate Moss has gone and tied the knot with her long-time boyfriend, Jamie Hince. The two wed back in August in a small intimate ceremony in Sicily at a small church by the sea. Only close friends and family were present.
After the ceremony, the couple, who have been together since 2007, went outside to dance and celebrate by the trees and were joined by local villagers. It actually all sounds quite romantic.
Kate, 36, was barefoot and clad in a see-through white gown (which is completely appropriate for Kate!). Sources say her makeup was very minimal and natural. None were surprised that she didn’t want a big formal ceremony with all her celebrity friends. Instead she opted for a spiritual and whimsical wedding, which seems perfect for Kate. The two spent several weeks planning the quiet ceremony.
Kate’s daughter, Lila Grace, served as one of the ring bearers.
And it all went down on August 7th. I’m surprised these two were able to keep it a secret for so long! Kate is no stranger to tabloid banter and we’ve all watched the turbulent waters of her love life, including relationships with Johnny Depp and Pete Doherty. Well, it seems Jamie, a 40-year-old guitarist for The Kills, was able to calm those waters and finally put an end to some of that banter… at least for now.
And yet, even through the paparazzi spectacles, Kate has always been able to have an air of mystery surrounding air. I guess that side of her probably helped in pulling off this top-secret wedding.
