Jourdan Dunn is the new face of Maybelline New York. The British beauty joins the likes of Christy Turlington and Emily DiDonato.
"Jourdan's look, style and positive energy are perfect for the Maybelline New York brand," Jerome Bruhat, Global Brand President of Maybelline New York, said in a statement. "She truly reflects Maybelline's vision of global beauty."
For Dunn, being a spokesperson for Maybelline is a dream come true.
It seems Dunn will make a pretty great spokesperson for the beauty brand, too. When it comes to beauty, the model says it's really all about what's on the inside.
"Beauty is confidence and self-awareness. To be beautiful, you have to know who you are on the inside," she said. "Beauty is kindness and respect for both yourself and others. Makeup is best used to enhance what you already have with the right touch in the right place it can be truly transformative in how you feel."
Dunn got her start back in 2007 at the Fall New York Fashion Week. She become something of a runway queen, having modeled in shows for major fashion houses like Prada, Chanel and Christian Dior. And, she's no novice to print ad campaigns either. Dunn has been featured in campaigns for Calvin Klein, Yves Saint Laurent and Burberry.
Dunn will be featured in both print and television ads for Maybelline. Both will begin appearing later this month.
