Here's something you don't see every day: Jennifer Aniston opted to go makeup-free in an Instagram photo with her best friend/stylist Chis McMillan, and OF COURSE she looks amazing.
Posted to McMillan's Instagram, the photo caption reads:
"Best #friends #no makeup #girl-time"
However, while we may be cheering on Aniston for "daring" to go makeup-free (and granted, personally, I would not do that on Instagram epecially if I were a famous person), Us Weekly reports that she has previously been very open about preferring no makeup to wearing makeup. In an interview with Marie Claire, she explained "For my wedding [to Justin Theroux], I wouldn't do an updo, but I think a veil is always pretty. I like loose and natural hair because it goes against the formality of the dress."
"Loose like, 'I just got out of bed, maybe had a romp' hair," she added.
The actress also went on to explain her own skin care regimen, and what she thinks some of us are doing wrong.
"I can never stress enough to my friends that they must do as I do …hydrate, hydrate, hydrate!" she said. "Drink lots of water, get enough sleep, exercise, and eat a clean, healthy diet whenever possible."
Please let the record state that I am currently writing this after having just eaten a donut. (But in my defence, it was delicious.)
"I think sometimes women may be overcleansing their skin," she continued. "Some products and masks can be too aggressive and irritating for certain skin types. I believe the more simple, natural, and easy the skin care regimen, the better off your skin will be."
Well now we know!
