Carly Rae Jespen For Candie’s

Carly Rae Jepsen is keeping busy — with a little help from Candie's.

The singer made her debut in the iconic brand's Fall 2013 video campaign that debuted on Monday, which showcases a day in the life of the Canadian pop star: recording, writing, and performing on stage. (Which, we're assuming, might be the product of a couple days in the life — but only because if our days were that busy, we'd all begin sobbing.)

"I think, for me, the highlight of the shoot is kind of the girly moments," she said. "Like when I get to wear the dresses and things that are sometimes a little out of my comfort zone, but it's really fun to play with. I love the way they combine it with leather jackets and combat boots, so that if you aren't totally a girly-girl you still got that edge."

In addition to the video, Jepsen will also appear in her first commercial for Candie's for the back-to-school season. On August 11, the commercial will debut at the Teen Choice Awards, and this is also a bankable first, since a commercial has never premiered at an event like this. Understandably, Jepsen is psyched.

"I had a great time shooting my Candie's Only at Kohl's commercial," she affirmed. "I love being able to offer my fans great deals on my favourite Candie's looks…who doesn't love a sale?"
