Pretty Prints
Basic black took a backseat in 2012 as everything from trousers to blouses to blazers were splashed with bright and bold patterns. Rag & Bone, Erdem, Prada and Miu Miu were just a handful of the designers showing prints on prints on prints.
Prediction: Don’t ditch those prints just yet. Whether you’re into flirty florals of graphic geometrics, adding a dash of pattern to your look keeps you far away from basic black.
