When I get a new magazine in the mail, I immediately flip to the back to see the fashion editorials. They are definitely my source of inspiration when it comes to both style and beauty. Here is how to achieve some of the best beauty looks from magazines on stands now:
Arizona Muse for Vogue Australia December 2013
Arizona’s look was created by hair stylist Diego da Silva and makeup by Francelle Daly. To achieve that wavy retro curl, part hair to one side and use a curling iron to curl 1-inch sections of your hair and then set each section with a bobby pin. Remove all the curls from the bobby pins and take a large brush and brush out all the curls so that they turn into waves. Use a little hairspray to hold your look. As for the makeup, Francelle used a matte burgundy lip colour and eye shadow in light grey and pearl with one layer of mascara for a natural lash. She coloured in Arizona’s famous brows and highlighted her cheekbones to accentuate her best features.

Liya Kebede for The Sunday Times
Liya stuns in this new photo spread shot by celebrity photographer Ellen Von Unwerth. I am a huge fan of the smokey cat-eye. Basically, when creating your smokey eye, you shape your shadow into a winged cat-eye. It is very simple to do but looks like you spent hours on it. Liya’s cheekbones are expertly contoured, using bronzer just below the cheekbone to make them look more defined. Her hair is tousled waves that you can create with a wand hair tool.

Georgia May Jagger for Harper’s Bazaar Spain November 2013
Shot by fashion photographer Xevi Muntane, the latest Spain cover stars Mick Jagger's famous daughter. To accentuate her iconic lips, they are dressed in a matte deep red lipstick. The eye makeup is kept simple with shimmery pinks and golds, and false lashes. Her hair is tamed, parted to the side with cascading curls using a big barreled iron.
