4 Books to Read During the Holidays

The holidays are a great time to catch up on reading. There is nothing better than snuggling up with a book on the couch during the cold winter months. Here are a few books I’ve just finished that I think you will absolutely love:

Where’d You Go, Bernadette?http://ir-ca.amazon-adsystem.com/e/ir?t=womensbookclub-20&l=as2&o=15&a=0297867288 by Maria Semple

When Bee’s mother Bernadette disappears, she begins writing email messages, official documents and a secret correspondence that comes together to create a touching novel about a mother’s role in a daughter’s world.

The Cuckoo’s Callinghttp://ir-ca.amazon-adsystem.com/e/ir?t=womensbookclub-20&l=as2&o=15&a=0316206849 by Robert Galbraith

Robert Galbraith is the pseudonym of J.K. Rowling, of Harry Potter fame, and her latest novel is a classic detective mystery with a twist. Detective Cormoran Strike investigates a supermodel’s suicide, but will he discover she was really murdered? You’ll just have to read and find out!

The Rosie Projecthttp://ir-ca.amazon-adsystem.com/e/ir?t=womensbookclub-20&l=as2&o=15&a=1443422665 by Graeme Simsion

Probably my fave book of the year, The Rosie Project is a quirky romance about a handsome but a bit awkward genetics professor and the woman who is totally wrong for him. You won’t be able to help but smile while reading this lovely novel.

Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy by Helen Fielding

Fielding is back with a brand new book starring our old pal, Bridget Jones. In this new instant classic, Fielding introduces us to a whole new phase of Bridget's life set in contemporary London. There are drunken texts, skinny jeans, Twitter and complicated electronics. Get ready to laugh!
