Candace Swanepoel always seems to have it going on. From fronting the new Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy Rosé© fragrance, walking the catwalk for several Victoria’s Secret Fashion Shows (not to mention wearing the coveted Royal Fantasy Bra) and now getting ready for her first baby, the South African beauty has been busy.
The new Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy Rosé© ($89) fragrance, which launched in January, comes inspired by one of our favourite drinks, no matter what the occasion: sparkling rosé©. Juicy top notes of mandarin, pear and jasmine petals blend together with a heart of Rose de Mai blooms, white peony and jasmine sambac and are warmed up with a sweet base of ambrox, orris and benzoin. To celebrate the new scent (with a glass of rosé©, of course), Candace Swanepoel shared some of her insights to the campaign and what it means to be a Viva La Juicy Rosé© girl.
Describe your look for the Viva La Juicy RoseÌ ad shoot.
For the Viva La Juicy RoseÌ ad, I was lying in a bed of roses, in the most exquisite tulle gown; which is very romantic and feminine. It really got me in the mood for the shoot.
What do you like best about Viva La Juicy RoseÌ?
What I like best about Viva La Juicy RoseÌ is that it’s modern, fresh and fun, and the bottle is really beautiful. It’s a nice addition on your tabletop.
What do you think the Viva La Juicy RoseÌ girl like?
The Viva La Juicy RoseÌ girl is really fun loving. She’s the life of the party. She’s the kind of girl that throws a big garden party; she sees life through rose-tinted glasses. She’s really feminine and cute.
Viva la Juicy RoseÌ is all about those everyday celebrations “ when was the last time you popped open a bottle of RoseÌ Champagne to celebrate?
The last time I popped open some RoseÌ was last weekend. I was enjoying an evening out with my friends and we started on the sun roof. I think it’s the perfect way to end an evening in New York City with a glass of RoseÌ and the sunset.
What has been your favourite part of the shoot?
My favourite part of the Viva La Juicy RoseÌ shoot was getting to lie on a bed of roses and channel a very romantic, sensual girl”she’s softer than Viva La Juicy.
