One of the most anticipated runway shows of World MasterCard Fashion Week, Pink Tartan’s F/W 2014 collection that debuted last night, was inspired by the polar votex we experienced this past winter. The nail look for Kimberly Newport-Mimran’s line had the same feel.
Inspiration: The collection is about a woman who has weathered a cold winter; bared the elements. Essie lead nail artist, Rita Remark, worked with Kim Newport-Mimran to create a colour inspired by the shade of a caribous antler. A bone, unnatural "Winter Nude".
Step 1: Apply one coat of Essie's "Ridge Filling Base Coat"
Step 2: Apply one coat of "Sand Tropez"
Step 3: Apply one coat of "Vanity Fairest" to lighten the beige-taupe of "Sand Tropez"
Step 4: Finish the look with Essie's "Good to Go" topcoat

Essie is the “BEST” nail polish!!! I only use Essie, and when I get my nails done, I take my own colors from Essie!!!!!!
