World MasterCard Fashion Week: Must See Spring 2014 Shows

Fashion week is just days away! Designers are putting the last touches on their collections, publicists are adding the final VIPs to the seating lists and editors are planning their backstage interviews. If you’ve got plans to swing by the shows, be sure to check out this list of the most anticipated designers to see at World MasterCard Fashion Week.

Pink Tartan

Kimberly Newport-Mimran is known for her feminine, fun and expertly-crafted designs. We’re always excited to see what she has in store for Pink Tartan, season after season. If you are a Toronto native, and love her collection at fashion week, you can find her classic pieces at her Toronto store in Yorkville or Holt Renfrew and The Bay.  

Joe Fresh

Creative genius and Canada’s fashion ‘royal’ Joseph Mimran (and Kimberly’s husband), will debut Joe Fresh’s latest spring collection.  Mimran is herald for his intuitive ability to design and brand women’s, men’s and children’s clothing; keeping Joe Fresh on the pulse of today’s fashion.

Stephan Caras

Stephan Caras previously designed with fashion houses Hermes and Guy Laroche. Caras along with his son, Kyriakos Caras have collaborated together to create a Spring 2014 collection that inspires elegance and strength.


Montreal designers, Elisa Dahan and Eran Elfassy are the creative force behind one of North America’s leading brands. Mackage has been able to sustain its’ popularity across North America due to its’ use of both masculine and feminine shapes in women’s and men’s outerwear.


Sisters, Chloe and Parris Gordon have said goodbye to former brand, Chloe Comme Parris, to present new venture Beaufille; a contemporary line that draws its’ inspiration from French culture, art and history.  Chloe and Parris have created a brand that draws from their collective knowledge of textiles and jewelry, marrying both worlds together to create a clean and well-balanced accessory and ready-to-wear line.
