Levi’s is Celebrating Pride 2015 With Limited-Edition Collection

Toronto’s Pride 2015 celebrations are just around the corner (June 19-28), and Levi’s is showing their support for the LGBTQ community with a limited-edition collection of tees, tanks and shorts.

To truly pay homage to gay rights, Levi’s team of designers looked into monumental moments throughout history for inspiration. It was clear to them that the Stonewall riots in 1969 should be the first moment in gay rights history that they would honour. These riots are considered the first protest in support of gay rights, helping to spur the creation of several gay rights organizations.

With that in mind, the Levi’s 2015 Pride Collection includes a pair of denim shorts with the addition of a rainbow tab, and a t-shirt and tank top that will display Rainbow Levi’s batwing and Stonewall lockup. All of the items will be available in gender-neutral sizing.

The Levi’s Pride 2015 Collection is now available (and will be through the month of June) at the Levi’s store in Yorkdale. Prices range from $28 to $68. All net proceeds will benefit the Stonewall Community Foundation.
