It’s the most wonderful time of the year, guys. When your fingers nearly fall off from frostbite while waiting for the streetcar on your way to work. When you boots get salt stains or–even worse–your brand new high heels get salt stains. The only true consolation in all of this is having a bomb ass parka that cost more than your rent, to keep you warm and ultra stylish while you freeze your bomb ass off.
That being said, sometimes it feels like we don’t have many brands to choose from when it comes to Canadian outerwear. Canada Goose is awesome, but it’s not the only awesome choice out there. Soia and Kyo Coyote Trimmed Coat ($590)
Not all parkas have to be puffy and black. We love the mix of wool and puffer style, all in a wintry wonderland grey tone. The fur is removable so you can wear it into the spring when it is still chilly, but fur looks out of place.
