With cool August nights, you can almost feel fall in the air. The mall is full of sumptuous fall items, but if you’re not ready to shop for cashmere just yet, here are some summer staples that can easily transition into fall.
Chambray shirt
Light denim or chambray shirts can easily transition into your fall wardrobe. Pair them now with a crochet lace skirt, and swap it for a pair of skinny printed trousers and a cute scarf when the temperature dips.
White jeans
We know not to wear white after labour day, but there’s something so fresh about a pair of white jeans. They go with nearly everything in the summer, but in fall, pair white jeans with a cozy oversized sweather and riding boots to get more mileage out of them.

Floral printed dresses
Floral prints are synonymous with summer, but with some clever layering, they can easily be worn when the leaves start to change. Layer up by wearing a thin sweater underneath your dress, or a contrasting button up. Accessorize with a glimmering statement necklace to pull the look together.
Stripes
Summer’s hottest trend is here to stay. Stripes in all shapes and sizes are still popping up on the fall runways and editorials. Pair graphic prints with an edgy leather motorcycle jacket or wool coat to channel the 1960s.
Crop top
Believe it or not, cropped styles are still popping out for fall. While you might not be able to wear this trend past Thanksgiving weekend, it is one of this coming fall’s trends. Wear your cropped top with a heavyweight high-rise skirt and jacket, or with jeans under an open coat or cape. This look is more high fashion, but the key to pulling it off is to only expose about an inch of skin and never your belly button!
