It’s embarrassing, but sometimes the combination of moisturizing and putting on jeans leads to exactly what happened to Ross Gellar in that episode of “Friends” where he wears leather pants.
So that’s probably why Wranger is releasing The Denim Spa, the first pair of moisturizing jeans.
Currently being modelled by Lizzie Jagger, the skinny style contains ingredients like aloe vera, olive extract, and Smooth Legs (which reportedly, according to Vogue UK, helps prevent cellulite.) Various oils — like rosehip and apricot kernal — are also contained, as well as monoi de Tahiti, a Polynesian ingredient made with Tiare flower buds.
In a promotional film, Ms. Jagger claims that “they definitely feel cooler than regular jeans,” and that “after a day wearing them [her] legs feel great.”
Well you go, girl.
The first pairs will be available on ASOS.com on January 28, and are priced at 85 GBP. However, we can all probably assume that they’ll make their way over here before the year’s end — or at least to the States. And even better news: while the ingredients last about 15 days, you can buy reload spray to keep your jeans as chalk-full of moisture as possible. Take that, body butter!
