And to help prove why we’ve all lost our early 20-something crushes on Shia LaBeouf, the Transformers star opened up to Details about every woman he’s ever been linked with. (Talk about classy, right?)
Evidently, Megan Fox and the actor got “friendly” during the filming of the cyborg-themed adventure film – perhaps even when the actress was with her now-husband, Brian Austin Green.
Likely using a tone we can all roll our eyes at (I mean, if I’m not going to editorialize here, when can I?), LaBeouf explained: “Look, you’re on set for six months, with someone who’s rooting to be attracted to you, and you’re rooting to be attracted to them. I never understood the separation of work and life in that situation. But the time I spent with Megan was our own thing, and I think you can see the chemistry onscreen.”
Slow claps. Well done, sir. (Not that you needed to drop the bomb about Megan Fox potentially cheating on her boyfriend (or was it fiance?), but you did it anyway – good for you.) But he didn’t stop there!
After claiming “it was what it was” between he and Ms. Fox, LaBeouf then commented on his relationship with former Transformers 2 star Isabel Lucas, citing it as “disastrous” and claiming they were just “experimenting or whatever”. Luckily, he had nothing but nice words for ex Carey Mulligan, revealing that he still loves her, and that he “wouldn’t take any of it back”.
Whether the same could be said for spilling the beans on his relationship with Megan Fox remains to be seen.
