Kate Moss married The Kills guitarist, Jamie Hince, on Friday in Southrop, England during a traditional church ceremony.
After the pair announced their engagement in February, there was speculation that the 37-year-old supermodel would design her own dress, but she instead opted for a custom-made gown by John Galliano. The sheer, bias-cut gown was figure-hugging and was covered in gold rhinestone embellishments. At a closer look, you’ll even be able to see some flowers and polka dots embroidered into the fabric. A unique, but elegant choice, staying true to Kate’s signature style.
Kate’s hubby Jamie, 42, was clad in a light blue suit by Yves Saint Laurent. It’s a questionable colour choice, but somehow it worked.
“It was a wham bam rock n’ roll marriage,” a source tells Us Weekly of Kate and Jamie’s nuptials. “She came out of the church with the bridesmaids and just snogged his face off — a couple of huge kisses, then the doors to the Rolls Royce opened and rock music blared out for everyone. It was a ‘Wow, Kate Moss is married’ moment.”
In true rockstar style, sources have said that the newlyweds would follow the wedding ceremony with a three-day festival of events dubbed “Moss-Stock,” which will include performances from Kanye West and Snoop Dogg. I say, if you’re going to get married, you might as well turn it into a spectacle (I don’t really say that, but in this case, it seems appropriate).
