Burberry is unveiling their Spring/Summer 2014 line tomorrow in London, and the fashion brand is getting a bit of help from Apple's iPhone 5s to capture the runway show. The newest iPhone comes equipped with a new iSight camera, which gives the smartphone the ability to take high quality photos and videos. The collaboration also marks the beginning of Burberry's new commitment to engaging with consumers through shared content.
"iPhone 5s makes it even easier to take great photos with the world's most popular camera," said Greg Joswiak, Apple's vice president of iPhone and iOS Product Marketing. "We're thrilled to see the amazing photos and HD video Burberry has captured with the incredible all-new iSight camera."
Christopher Bailey, the Chef Creative Officer for Burberry, added that this collaboration will open up new digital experiences for fans of the fashion brand.
"This collaboration celebrates our relationship and shared foundation in design and craftsmanship," he said. "We have a mutual passion for creating beautiful products and unlocking emotive experiences through technology, which has made it intensely exciting to explore the capabilities of iPhone 5s. We're inspired by what this could mean for the future as we continue to explore the merging of physical and digital experiences."
