Product Of The Week: Origins Plantscription Active Wrinkle Correction Serum

Once upon a time we were friends with a PR woman who lived in New York City. She represented the plant and science-driven brand Origins and shared samples of products with us regularly, including Plantscription’s Anti-Aging Power Eye Cream. We fell in love with it on first use and have happily used it ever after since.

Fast forward to right now and while our friend has long since moved on to new and wonderful adventures, we’ve never forgotten her kindness or our appreciation for the naturally derived ingredients in all of Origins’ products. So, when we were recently sent the brand’s new Plantscription Active Wrinkle Correction Serum to try, you know we uncapped the green bottle and smoothed the serum on all over our face (while jumping up and down) right away.

Fuelled with a wrinkle-busting blend of efficacious ingredients, this vegan formula is just a good as we anticipated it would be. After using is on clean skin morning and night for about two weeks, our fine lines and crow’s feet are less pronounced, and our skin has a renewed bounce. The inclusion of retinol is to thank for this, as it boosts our skin’s cellular turnover and diminishes the signs of aging. Next, a peptide called acetyl hexapeptide-8 softens and smooths our epidermis to perpetuate and add to retinol’s hard efforts. Then, Anogeissus bark extract and laminaria digitata (a nutrient-rich algae), boost our skin’s internal structure to promote a youthful external look and feel. The overall effect is bright and radiant skin with a youthful glow.

And on the inside, well, it’s given us a warm and nostalgic vibe that just can’t be beat.

Origins Plantscription Active Wrinkle Correction Serum, $90 for 30ml, $130 for 48ml, available at Hudson’s Bay and online at
