There’s something about this time of year that has us pulling out all of our makeup from inside the bathroom vanity and playing dress-up with every bold berry lipstick and pretty pink blush we can get our hands on, including Maybelline’s Color Strike Eyeshadow Pen in its warm rosy-brown hue, “Tease.”
Super easy to apply with its sponge-y tip, the cream-to-powder formula glides on with barely any effort on our part. Depending on the look we’re planning for our, eh hem, work from home attire, we either do one pass of the pen across our lids or two or three for intensified colour. Either way, the gorgeous shade lasts all day and without creasing or smearing too, despite our oily eyelids best efforts. Plus, we love how neutral “Tease” makes our blue eyes pop and complements the sea of gray and black clothing hanging in our closet.
The eye shadow’s ophthalmologist-tested formula is also available in nine other beautiful hues too, from bold “Tempt,” a deep burgundy wine to subtle “Charm,” a barely-there baby pink. So while we’re favouring “Tease” we’ve been giving the others their due turn as well, whether we’re swiping for an eyeliner effect or for a fully covered lid. Because even if we aren’t going out the way we used to, you’d better believe we’re still going to look good staying in.
